Design for Exhibition
Robert Richardson was set the brief to ‘Design for Exhibition’ for a Gallery in the neighbouring town of Barnsley, Yorkshire.
The design evolved from observing the wrapping around a bunch of flowers. After experimenting with paper and card Robert then designed the plant stands for an elegant addition to a room.
The design gives the added option of changing the position of the individual stands, allowing for altering the appearance and changing the layout of a room.
The plant stands are made from curved Birch plywood and treated with a clear laquer.
