Table for the Eco Consumer
Rob Rich Design has also been working on a table made from recycled timber, analysing the market before making a dining table from used doors, specifically designed to appeal to eco-conscious consumers.
Manufactured from used internal pine doors. Robert Richardson discovered that doors are discarded as waste, when realistically the timber is still perfectly usable even if the doors are damaged.
The standard four panel internal door can create regular sections of timber, from which Robert Richardson went about designing ‘Furniture for the Eco Consumer’.
Lightly stained with a White Spruce finish and treated with an eco friendly Hard Wax Oil.
